About Me
------------------------------------------
I am a Senior Lecturer in Philosophy
at the University of Sydney.
I have been at Sydney since 2005. From 2001–2004 I
was a Lecturer, and then a Senior Lecturer, at Victoria University of
Wellington. Before that I was a graduate student at Princeton
University, where I was awarded an MA in 1998 and a PhD
in 2001. I did my undergraduate work at the University of
Sydney, where I was awarded a BA(Hons) in 1995.
(I am not Nicholas
Smith, who is in Philosophy at Macquarie University,
which is also located in Sydney.)
Elsewhere on the web, I am the designer for Snorkel, a trans-Tasman
journal of poetry and prose.
