| Welcome! A lecturer in the Musicology Unit at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, I devise and coordinate its courses in harmony and analysis. As a composer and researcher, my particular interest lies in the area of new music for traditional Japanese instruments and I have written several pieces for the shô, a member of the gagaku ensemble. After hours I enjoy playing the oboe, mostly in community orchestras and chamber groups. A more formal biographical note is available here. |
