I believe that we are living in a dying civilization, dying  so that a birth can take place, which is to be a new phase of the eternal cycle, the Age of Aquarius. The Earth is made in the image of Heaven.The Emerald Tablet  of Hermes Trismegistus states:"As it is above, so it is below, for the miracle of the completion of the one thing." The same idea has been put another way:"Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven."The purpose of the Great Work is to transform what is below into the likeness of what is above.Change must start within the individual: "change yourself and you change the world."This is the truth of the Eternal  Wisdom. I explore aspects of these issues in this home page.
