Welcome to :

AL'S COSMIC CONNECTIONS

A diverse collection of original and stimulating ideas on matters spiritual and cosmic, intended to contribute to the illumination of life on this mortal coil and the union of the heavens and earth (as above, so below).

I am interested in the writings of Dolores Ashcroft Nowicki,Dion Fortune, Robert Lawlor, R.J.Stewart (Bob Stewart), Dane Rudhyar, William Blake, to name a few.

Subjects of interest are astrology, tarot, the New Age, the Age of Aquarius, Qabalah, the Western Mystery Tradition, the Tree of Life, folklore, mythology, comparative religion, hermetic thought. Two of my favourite quotations follow. The first is from The Occult Review, 1919:

"Completed man will need to sorrow no longer, for with the second coming the cross is laid down."

(I take second coming to mean in this case a spiritual rebirth of humanity.)

"Inheritor of a dying world, we call thee to the living beauty" (fr.Golden Dawn Neophyte ritual)
